A flower and its ornaments created on the beach of the Wild Coast, in Charente-Maritime. This drawing on the sand is above all a tribute to Marc Treanor, a fellow beach artist who unfortunately passed away. He was one of the people who confirmed my belief in fully pursuing my passion and gave me some keys to let go at a time when I needed it most. I will always be grateful for this meeting with him and his partner Rachel, and the moments we spent together creating on his beaches in Wales. This simple yet graphic beach art is my interpretation of what we shared together. For me, he was one of the best in our field and was one of the most inspiring people through his creations, but especially his humanity and kindness, and I believe we had a great mutual respect. The lotus, because I had drawn one on a beach in Wales on the way back, after those few days with Marc. It was natural for me to dedicate a mural on the beach to him, and this was it, but there are many where I have him in mind. This is also what it means to be a designer of the living, paying tribute to those who left too soon.
