Sometimes when I come to the beach, I discover a giant virgin sandbank, which takes place between 2 baïnes thanks to which I know that potentially I could have beautiful images afterwards with the drone. And even if I already had an idea in mind for a drawing, it can sometimes take me the mad urge to fill completely this sandbank. It was the case that day and I do not hide that it took a lot of courage and determination to achieve this goal. I also had to find a new idea for a fresco and therefore improvise something.

Sometimes it happens not to have a precise idea, but that does not prevent you from starting. I then decide to draw large, thick lines, which will intersect each other. I try to organize them as best as possible to give a certain dynamic on the design. This first job was long and tedious because even if the lines are drawn with a rope, this one was not big enough to draw the longest lines on the beach. After a few minutes of thinking and walking in the middle of this first try in order to find a bright idea to finish the drawing, I end up stopping on something simple. Connect the intersections together with thinner lines. As the tide does not wait, these will be handmade, without rope with as only guide the compass in the eye.

A simple idea therefore ends up becoming something complex, which will determine the name of this fresco on the sand, produced on the Côte Sauvage beach in La Tremblade in Charente-Maritime. It might not have been my best the idea and my expectations for drone shots were certainly higher, but this drawing on the beach gave me a good test of my will !
