The Côte Sauvage at La Tremblade often offers pretty surprises. The incessant swells sometimes form sandbanks whose shape and colors add a certain tone to a design on the beach. The beach gardener that I am, takes advantage of these occasions when he can to fill these famous sandbanks and embellish nature with a few well-felt curves. A beach art project to let go where you don’t know where you’re going, but you build a fresco with just a few unstructured ideas. I will be helped by my friend Guillaume on this one, who will take care of the few filling with the rake, while I make the shapes evolve. The art of the beach is also that, creating sea-effect paintings that we did not necessarily give a meaning to before having started it.
