Sometimes you go to the beach without a clear idea, without even knowing whether a drawing on the sand is going to be made or not. But a beach gardener always takes his rake with him! And that day, I had done well because sandbanks had formed and left nice contrasts with the baïne below. With a little help from Guillaume, my official music producer, we start this new fresco and sometimes the easiest thing is to use decorative elements, which we usually use to create a new painting. . This is how these giant waves took shape on the beach and ended up adorned with my usual patterns. But to give the whole thing a little life, the idea of a giant whale, which finishes its dive, seemed to me to be the right one. I really wanted to use the entire sandbank and Guillaume’s help was invaluable for this beach art, which will ultimately be around 150m wide.
