Beach art #110 : Mandala Rocheux

Sometimes you have a very specific idea in mind, but when you arrive on the beach, the sandbanks are not at all suitable for your beach art project. It is for this reason, moreover, that I never give an appointment on the beach to my audience. How do you announce an outing when you yourself are not sure whether you are staying on the initially targeted range? I think I will make a lot of disappointments to give a rendez-vous and not be there. That’s why I made the choice to warn at the last minute with a small publication, I can hardly do better. In any case, this time my drawing prepared on the paper was impossible to do in the exact place where I had imagined it. I had to migrate 800m further at the entrance of the beach where I will then have to improvise. In the end, it’s a rather well-felt improvisation, because for the first time I used the rocks at the entrance to the Grande Côte beach to fully integrate them into the fresco and create this new, very solar ephemeral painting. Two short hours of tracing on the beach, because I had a hand from my friend Guillaume for the filling, and this drawing on the sand was finished. All you had to do was take advantage of the light to make the drone take off and have a nice contrast on the aerial shots.
