There is news sometimes, which touches you and particularly saddens you. This was the case when I learned that a beach artist counterpart, who to me was the most talented of us, has passed away. I had the chance to meet Marc Treanor at his home in Wales where we spent a few days together on his beaches. At the time, I had just quit my job to embark on this new artistic adventure and this meeting with Marc really reinforced my decision. His vision of things, his way of thinking were very inspiring to start the unknown as I was going to do. It was then normal to pay homage to him via a drawing on the beach, his artistic activity too, in which he excelled. Several artists from different countries of the world gathered to each pay a tribute, the theme of the star then became obvious. My star therefore welcomes a beach gardener, who looks at us from his clouds accompanied by the elements he appreciated so much symbolized by the waves. He is about to cross the door of the great men.
