Beach art #36 : Cercles filants

The time is not to party for this beach art project. Lots of wind, the sky is very overcast and the rain is threatening. However, I had to go down to the beach that morning, because I had made an appointment with a journalism student, who had asked me to produce a subject for her school. We first go to the Devil’s Bridge in Saint-Palais sur mer, a beach that will prove unusable for drawing on the sand that morning. So I decided to go to Pontaillac near Royan for the beach art of the day. As I like to put myself in danger from time to time, even though I knew that the drawing was going to be filmed with an interview, I had nothing prepared. It is therefore in total improvisation, that the shooting will take place! A few minutes of reflection from the top of the rocks and I set to work to paint the beach using my rake. This is how filaments will take shape on the sand. They will then be finalized using circles of different sizes. A mixture of fireworks and shooting stars. A fine rain is pointing its nose as I put the last strokes of the rakes, I hasten to take the photos and videos before the weather turns bad. Everything is in the box, the subject will be produced without a hitch and a good grade will be awarded to the young lady, who thus discovered my ephemeral art more closely.
